Description: Johnson County Community College seeks a contractor to provide labor, materials, and equipment to remove grease and combustible residues from approximately 28 campus kitchen exhaust systems. Services include quarterly cleanings at the COM Kitchen, COM Bakery, and SC Food Court, plus semiannual cleanings at other designated locations; work must follow NFPA 96 and local fire codes and take place on weekdays between 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. The initial contract term is one year with four one-year extension options, and bids are due October 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.

Hood and Duct Cleaning Services
Cover all State equipment with Contractor provided clean/new waterproof covers (i.e., tarps and/or plastic covers) prior to any servicing, including equipment such as ovens, grills, cookers, deep fryers, etc. to prevent moisture from spilling on or into the equipment during cleaning. Place a plastic funnel under the hood system to assist the draining of the buildup of grease removed from the system and to ensure the grease removed from the system will be filtered through the floor drain and not onto State equipment.
