The City of South Jordan is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide spray-applied structural-grade geopolymer lining services for the City’s Culvert Maintenance Projects. The selected contractor shall provide consultation, furnish all necessary materials, and perform preparation and installation services for approximately 1,680 linear feet of structural-grade geopolymer lining. All work shall be completed in accordance with manufacturer standards and specifications and within the project schedule established by the City. The City of South Jordan intends to select one contractor through this Request for Proposals (RFP) to perform the required services.
The selected contractor shall provide all labor, material and equipment required to provide for the preparation and installation of a structural-grade geopolymer lining system providing a minimum 50-year service life for internal protection and fully structural rehabilitation of existing culvert system infrastructure. This is accomplished by using an approved structural, monolithic spray-application of a high-build, geopolymer lining system with enhanced corrosion and abrasion protection, forming a new structure within existing deteriorated infrastructure.
The City will provide CCTV inspection footage for all chambers.
Coordination with property owners using fliers and notices may be required prior to doing any work.
Performance and Payment Bonds are required from the Contractor who is awarded this project.
Anticipated Notice to Proceed is March 30, 2027.
Project Completion shall be June 1st, 2027, including all invoicing.
