INJECTION WELL FAILURE MODE EVALUATION

Description: The Bureau of Reclamation is soliciting a firm-fixed-price engineering evaluation of potential failure modes and risks for Paradox Salinity Control Well No. 1, a deep brine injection well. The contractor will review project records and assess the well’s surface, subsurface, and reservoir systems, identifying single-point, multiple-point, cascading, and catastrophic failures and their indicators and detection methods. It must recommend prioritized monitoring, inspections, testing, data and performance metrics, quality-control methods, and applicable technologies, and report the results in draft and final reports.
