The City of Clermont is seeking qualified operators to lease and manage street-legal golf cart rental operations at Victory Pointe, including reservations, vehicle maintenance, and customer services. At least 80% of the rental fleet must consist of golf carts, and the selected operator must remit 10% of gross sales to the City while complying with specified insurance and operational requirements. The initial contract term is three years with renewal options, and proposals must be submitted through the City's procurement portal by the stated deadline.
The project includes widening approx 5,080 LF (10,160 SF) of existing five-foot-wide concrete cart paths by adding two feet of new concrete to achieve a finished width of seven feet. Additionally, approx 212 LF (1,484 SF) of existing concrete cart paths shall be demolished and reconstructed to a finished width of seven feet. All work shall include site preparation, excavation, grading, select fill as necessary, concrete demolition and removal, reinforcing steel, dowel installation, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and final site restoration.
This project will replace an old building that has outlived its lifespan and usefulness. A new building will be constructed to accommodate a fleet size of 80 carts, provide weather protection, and include modern amenities. The existing fleet of gas-powered carts is recommended to be replaced with electric carts, which will require charging stations.
