Pratts Dam Road Bank Stabilization Project
The solicitation seeks geotechnical investigation and stabilization design for approximately 1,600 feet of Pratts Dam Road beside the West Branch of Brandywine Creek, where the roadway is failing. Phase I will characterize the roadbed fill, underlying soils, and depth to rock to inform the stabilization approach. Phase II is design work; the posting identifies two soldier pile retaining walls as the most feasible solution and aims to restore the roadway and provide PennDOT-standard safety features.
