The Commission approved the job description and granted the Coordinator the discretion to advertise the position, following a suggestion to post it internally first. Additionally, approval was granted for the Chairperson to sign an addendum to the MABAS contract concerning reimbursement for Clinton County EMA equipment used in extended emergency mitigation operations. The Commission also approved an application for the Statewide Mass Notification System, which is currently state-funded but may result in county responsibility if funding ceases. A future subcommittee meeting date was set, and the creation of an executive group for closer coordination with the Coordinator was proposed for the next meeting agenda.
